  1. Be on time. If you arrive in a frenzied, rushed state, it may take longer to relax.
  2. If you are allergic to any oils, tell your massage therapist, who can choose a substitute.
  3. Music is provided during the massage session. Let your massage therapist know if you have any music preferences or if you would prefer no music at all.
  4. The therapist will leave the room while you undress. Sheets and a blanket are provided for draping during the massage and the therapist will uncover only the part of your body being massaged, ensuring that modesty is respected at all times.
  5. Most people remain silent during the massage, while others like to talk. Both options are fine.
  6. You will be asked at the beginning of the session if the amount of pressure is to your liking. Provide honest feedback. Your massage therapist is a professional dedicated to making every little detail perfect for you.
  7. Relax your muscles and your mind. Tightening up by contracting or hardening your muscles during the massage is counterproductive. If you find your thoughts are racing during the massage, focus on your breathing. Breathing helps facilitate relaxation.
